The New Orleans Saints 2019 regular season schedule has been announced.

The Black & Gold will kick off the season at home on September 9 in a prime-time Monday Night Football matchup with the Houston Texans. In total, the Saints 2019 season features four prime-time games with a few key notable matchups that we will get to in a bit.

In addition to their NFC South opponents, the Saints will face each franchise in the AFC South and the NFC West. A few notable games that fans have had circled since the 2019 opponents were released include a September 15 rematch against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 on the road and a Sunday Night home game in prime-time against the Dallas Cowboys slated for September 29.

The Saints will be looking for revenge against both of the aforementioned teams after the 10-13 trap game loss to Dallas in Week 13 that snapped a 10-game winning streak, and of course the infamous NOLA No-Call against the Los Angeles Rams that robbed the Saints of an opportunity to play in the Super Bowl. (yeah, we're still salty)

Other notable games include another Monday Night Football matchup against the Indianapolis Colts in the dome on December 16 and a Thursday Night game against the Falcons in Atlanta on Thanksgiving (11/28).

The Falcons matchup will be extra interesting—not only because its a rematch of the Saints-Falcons game last Thanksgiving, but because it will be the second time in less than a month that the Saints will face the Falcons being that they battle in the dome in Week 10 on November 10.

If there is one silver lining in those two matchups being so close it would be that the Saints see the Falcons for the first time after a BYE week that falls on Week 9 which is basically the exact halfway point of the season.
