Our Big Game Party Raised Big Money For St. Jude
Yesterday was the Gator 99.5 Big Game Party at Walkons here in Lake Charles We had a bunch of listeners who won tickets to the party come and have a ton of fun.
We had free appetizers for them and live music from Johnny Jimenez up until the big game kicked off at 5:30 pm. During that time, we had a ton of prizes to giveaway.
One of the purposes of the big game party is to not only make sure everyone has a great time but to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital which y'all all know is a charity Gator 99.5 supports all year long.
We had an autographed guitar, autographed baseball bat signed by Jace Peterson, a Bud Light Yeti Ice Chest, a Golf Bag, and two Jow Burrow prints which one was an artist proof signed and framed by Candace Alexander.
Partygoers had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for 50 cents each and put their tickets into a box for the drawings for the prizes. We also auction off four items too.
In total, we raised $4447.00 for St. Jude's. That is amazing and we can't thank everyone enough. Combine our Big Game Party donations with the two-day radiothon we did two weeks ago where we raised $75,246 and you have helped us raise a total of $79,693.00. That is unbelievable!
We won't stop however until no child dies from cancer. Thank you SWLA for your support and for helping us help St. Jude.
