Krewe De Tracas Hosting Pancakes With Santa in Westlake This Weekend!

🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Lake Charles, LA — If you’re lookin’ for a sweet way to kick off the Christmas season in Westlake, Krewe De Tracas is bringin’ back one of the cutest family events around. It’s called Pancakes With Santa, and it’s happenin’ Sunday, December 7, 2025, over at the Managan Center. If you’ve never been, picture this. Kids runnin’ around grinnin’, parents sippin’ coffee tryin’ to wake up, and Santa sittin’ there like he owns the place. It’s a good time. Real simple. Real fun. Real Southwest Louisiana.

They’re doin’ two sessions this year. You can roll in from 10 AM to noon, or hit the later one from 2 PM to 4 PM. Each time slot only holds 125 tickets, and they went on sale October 1st, so don’t sit around too long thinkin’ about it. This thing fills up fast. Folks love pancakes. Folks love Santa. Put the two together, and boom, you got an event people fight over like the last bag of crawfish on a Friday.

Tickets are $5 a person if you’re plannin’ on eatin’. BUT, If you bring a frozen turkey, a ham, or a $20 teen-approved gift card, you’ll get four tickets instead. All the donations goes to our friends at Brennan’s Blessings, which supports families right here in SWLA. I love when an event feeds folks and gives back. That’s how it oughta be.

Santa pictures are happenin’ too, so get the kids ready. If you want a photo, all you gotta do is bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate, or just pay five dollars a picture. Every bit of that goes to Brennan’s Blessings as well. And every child who eats gets a little gift bag, just a small something to make ’em smile on the way out.

It’s one of those events that just feels good. No stress. No fuss. Just pancakes, Santa, and a whole lotta Christmas spirit floatin’ around the room. So mark your calendar. Set a reminder. Tape a note to your fridge if you gotta.
