Planet Fitness Offers Free Summer Pass for Teens

Planet Fitness has locations all over the country, and all over the place. Between Louisiana and Texas alone, they have over 220 locations. Including locations right here in Southwest Louisiana, in Lake Charles and Sulphur.

Planet Fitness Bringing Back High School Summer Pass Program

The company is bringing back its popular High School Summer Pass program for 2026. The program gives teens ages 14 to 19 free access to participating Planet Fitness locations across the United States and Canada. The free program begins on June 1 and runs through August 31.

The company says it has already invested more than $460 million in free memberships through the program over the years. Planet Fitness says the program is designed to help young people stay healthy both physically and mentally during the summer break.

“At Planet Fitness, our mission is to break down the barriers to fitness,” CEO Colleen Keating said in a statement. “Young people are increasingly prioritizing their mental and physical health.”

Teens can pre-register now on the official Planet Fitness website. Once registered, students can work out for free at their selected home gym all summer long.
