Quarter Horse Season Comes To An End Saturday At Delta Downs

If you are looking for something real cool to do this weekend for your July 4th holiday, head out to Delta Downs for the end of this years Quarter horse season.

Tomorrow night is the Louisiana Showcase Night featuring the Lee Berwick futurity.  That race alone pays over $700 thousand dollars.

If you have never been out to watch horse racing before then your in for  a treat.  These jockies and horses are real athletes.  There is nothing like seeing it live either and it's free to go watch.

Gator 99.5 will be out at Delta Downs tomorrow afternoon from 3pm to 5pm to broadcast live from the track.  We will talk with track announcer Don Stevens about all the events slated for tomorrow night.
