Rabbit Festival Takes Over The Burton Complex This Weekend in Lake Charles
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - The 2026 Iowa Rabbit Festival is heading your way this weekend here in Lake Charles. The festival will take place at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles on Friday, March 20th, and Saturday, March 21st, 2026.
The Iowa Rabbit Festival is one of the biggest festivals in the state of Louisiana and takes place on the third weekend of March every year in Lake Charles. The festival features a rabbit show, carnival rides, a rabbit festival cook-off, arts and craft vendors, plenty of food, and great live entertainment on two stages all weekend long.
Back in January, we announced the 2026 Iowa Rabbit Festival entertainment lineup for this year's festival, and now this weekend, you get to see it live. I will be live on location all weekend, broadcasting live and also emceeing the festival for my 22nd year.

The entertainment takes place inside and outside, depending on what is going on each day. It will either be inside the Burton Coliseum or under the Burton barn for the cook-off. One of the cool features of this festival is that inside the Burton, you can expect to see two stages where huge names will perform live.
They do two stages at the festival, so when one artist finishes on one stage, the next one starts on the other stage, so the music never stops. So who is playing this weekend?
