It was announced that the Roots and Boots Tour would be returning to Lake Charles for its yearly stop. Never been? Here's what to expect...
Sammy Kershaw, a proud Louisiana native, is bringing his powerful voice and unforgettable songs back home. Fans can look forward to singing along to hits like “Oklahoma,” “Third Rate Romance,” “Vidalia,” “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “Cadillac Style,” “Queen of My Double-Wide Trailer,” and “Love of My Life.” Sammy always knows how to get the crowd going, and his performances are packed with energy and heart.
Aaron Tippin will also take the stage, and if you’ve ever seen him live, you know he brings the fire. Known as the wild one of the group, Tippin will be performing fan favorites such as “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong with the Radio,” “Kiss This,” and “You’ve Got to Stand for Something.” His bold style and strong voice always leave a lasting impression.
Rounding out the show is the smooth and emotional voice of Collin Raye. He’s known for powerful ballads that hit right in the heart. His song “Love Me” is a timeless classic, and fans will also get to enjoy other hits like “In This Life,” “My Kind of Girl,” “Little Rock,” and “I Can Still Feel You.” Collin’s heartfelt lyrics and moving melodies will have you singing along and maybe even shedding a tear.
