As the residents of SWLA continue to rebuild from Hurricane Laura, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (1102 Mill Street) and its parishioners are rolling up their sleeves to lend a helping hand.

The public is invited to pick-up a free box of food, a wide variety of supplies, new shoes in children and adult sizes, personal hygiene items, water, cleaning supplies, and more. The church is even giving away dog and cat food, so everyone in the family can get a blessing.

Items will be passed out every Saturday in September and October from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Residents are asked to enter through the parking lot from Enterprise Boulevard. For more information call 337-439-2646.
