Saints-Falcons Tickets Surprisingly Affordable For Historic 20th Anniversary Game
New Orleans, LA [KNGT-FM] - Saints fans will get a chance to relive one of the most memorable nights in New Orleans sports history when the Atlanta Falcons return to the Caesars Superdome for Monday Night Football on October 5.
The 2026 matchup comes almost exactly 20 years after the Saints and Falcons played the unforgettable 2006 “Domecoming” game, as it's known now, marking New Orleans’ return to the Superdome following Hurricane Katrina.

The Saints had spent the 2005 season playing home games away from New Orleans after the storm devastated the city and damaged the Dome.
On September 25, 2006, the Superdome reopened for the Saints’ emotional return. The defining moment came just minutes into the game when Saints special-teams standout Steve Gleason broke through the Falcons’ protection and blocked a punt.

That play has now been immortalized outside of the Superdome. There is a statue of Gleason blocking the punt, properly named the “Rebirth”.
