Sammy Kershaw Concert Cancelled, Rescheduled For October

We've got some unfortunate news to report to start the weekend. If you were planning to attend the Sammy Kershaw concert at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles tonight, that concert has been canceled and rescheduled for a later date.

Sammy has been at it for almost four decades now entertaining audiences all over the country. Sammy's first big hit was called Cadillac Style which he released in 1991 and the song went all the way to number three on the charts. He followed that song up with the hit Don't Go Near The Water.

Did you know that Sammy was married to Lorrie Morgan who was married to country legend Keith Whitley until he died in 1989? The couple married in 2001 and divorced in 2007.

Unfortunately, Sammy's concert at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles that was scheduled for tonight has been canceled. The concert has been rescheduled for October 2024.

Here is the statement released from the Golden Nugget:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Sammy Kershaw show on May 17, 2024, has been rescheduled to October 25, 2024. All tickets purchased will be honored for the new date. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase. The refund deadline is June 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST.

It appears Sammy had to cancel due to tour bus issues, here is what Sammy and his team posted on Facebook today.
