Savannah Bananas Tickets Available For This Weekend In Baton Rouge, Louisiana
The Savannah Bananas are not your typical modern-day baseball team. Basically, you could compare them to the old Harlem Globetrotters. The guys will be making a stop in Baton Rouge this weekend and third-party sites have tickets available for the events, but are you willing to pay this price?
The team is known for its funny videos that tend to go viral on social media platforms. Everything from skits to dancing, tricks, and so much more... The Savannah Bananas are INCREDIBLE! Their style of play is very different than other variations of the sport. It is VERY fan-interactive, if a fan catches a foul ball, they are out! Cool, Right!
The Savannah Bananas experience entirely reimagines the game with choreographed dances, huge scoring celebrations, mascots, musicians, and celebrity guests. It was named the “Greatest Show in Sports” by ESPN and TikTok's favorite team. Their fast-paced, action-packed "banana ball" version of baseball features regulations like no bunting, a two-hour time limit, spectators catching foul balls for outs, hitters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker match if a game is tied.
This past weekend, the Bananas stopped in Houston for over 41,000 fans to see the team's sold-out debut at Houston's Minute Maid Park on Saturday night. This show marked the Bananas' first-ever game in a major league stadium.
The night featured plenty of special guests.
- 7-time CY Young Award Winner Roger Clemens
- Former Astros Pitcher Roy Oswalt
- Former Astro Josh Reddick
Tickets are still available for the show at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge this weekend through third-party sites. The cheapest tickets are currently going for around $150 each.
