Scotty McCreery Sings an Acoustic Cover of Strawberry Wine

McCreery sat down with his acoustic guitar during the "CMA Summer Stay-Cay" event that happened a few short days ago. The Five More Minutes and This is It singer performed with just his guitar to sing an amazing version of Deana Carter's giant 90's hit, Strawberry Wine.

His genuine twang comes out that we all know and love as he sings through the lyrics we all love, drink, and sway with each time we hear it. He claims in the video that the song is one of his favorites. It should be!

Released in 1996 on Deana Carter's first album, Did I Shave My Legs for This?, it became an instant hit and Carter's first ever number one hit in the Billboard Hot Country Charts. To this day, it is considered a staple of 90's country music, and Carter's most successful single ever.
