Second Annual West Fest 2024 Taking Place In Westlake, Louisiana In October

Last year the city of Westlake, Louisiana put on its inaugural West Fest. It was so successful that it is back for another year. West Fest is coming your way in October 2024. We spoke with Mike Brignac with the city of Westlake and the Mayor of Westlake Hal McMillin who broke the news.

Mayor McMillin and the city council are excited to bring this festival back again this year to the Westlake and Southwest Louisiana area where you can bring the entire family. The festival will feature live music, eight food trucks, bounce houses, and over 40 arts and crafts vendors.

Bring your entire family and your lawn chair, and you're also allowed to bring your ice chest to the event. It will take place on Saturday, October 5th, at Pinederosa Park in Westlake. The event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The event is FREE to attend. They will have live music all day. The artists scheduled to perform include,

6:30 pm to 8:00 pm -- La Express

8:00 pm to 8:30 pm -- Brian Racca Jr

8:30 pm to 10:00 pm -- Jamie Bergeron
