Top Senior Trip Destinations 2026 Graduates Are Choosing

KNGT | Lake Charles, LA — Graduation is just days away here in Southwest Louisiana, and you can feel it everywhere. Seniors are wrapping things up, families are getting proud, and a lot of these kids are starting to plan that one last big trip before real life kicks in. This got me thinking about my graduation, and to be honest, I didnt get to take a Senior Trip. We grew up kinda poor and then money just wasnt there for me to go. But it got me thinking… where are seniors going these days?

I came across a list from GroupTravelNetwork.com, and let me tell you, these trips have stepped up big time. One of the top spots is Orlando, FL were talking about DISNEY!!! If you have never been, this would be the best time to go, right?

Where to go for Senior Trip?

Then you’ve got Cancún, which is all about beaches and sunshine, and we all know how fun Mexico is...

Next we have these types of people the ones that are heading to Washington, DC for a trip that mixes fun with learning. You can walk through history, see the monuments, and actually connect with things you learned in school. To be honest, when I graduated, learning was nowhere on the radar. I would have passed on this trip.

New York City coming in next, The bright lights in the big city, I think this would be a better place to visit in the winter time, to see the Christmas decorations. But maybe the Summer time is fun too?

Last on the list.,,Paris, with stops at the Eiffel Tower and museums that most folks only see in pictures. I dont know anyone in my class that went across the world for their Senior Trip, apparently I need better friends.

That last stretch of senior year is something special. Its all about making memories and enjoying that last little bit of freedom before that next stage in your life. And if you missed out on a trip like I did, don’t worry… life’s got a way of giving you your own version of that memory down the road.
