Senior Trooper Steven Vincent Memorial 5k Saturday Nov. 2

We all know the sacrifice every law enforcement man and woman makes when they put on the uniform and serve our community.

Louisiana State Trooper Steven Vincent made that ultimate sacrifice when he was killed in the line of duty protecting the citizens of Troop D on that fateful day. Now here is your chance to support a great cause while celebrating a great man.

Here is a great cause to get involved in on November 2nd, 2019 here in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  Sgt. Brett Travis came into the studio to tell us about the First annual Senior Trooper Vincent D-57 Memorial Team 5k.

Sgt. Travis said,

This 5K run will raise money to ensure our Louisiana Trooper's Charities will continue to have funding to provide Level 4 Ballistic vests to all new Troopers upon graduation from the Louisiana State Police Training Academy as well as continue to fund our Louisiana Trooper's Charities - Troop D Grant a Wish and local philanthropic programs.
