Southwest Louisiana Golf Courses Reopen
For the past month and a half, there have been a lot of things closed to the public while we adhere to the stay-at-home order and practice social distancing. As the Louisiana governor eased some restrictions, local businesses are slowing being able open back up under limited access.
Golf Courses in the Southwest Louisiana area are starting to open up their doors. The National in Westlake has been open but now there are a couple other courses you will be able to go out to and enjoy being outdoors.
Coushatta Casino Resort's Koasati Pines golf course will reopen this Wednesday, May 6, 2020 with new hours and days open.
Koasati Pines will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from from 8:00am to 7:00pm and will have some restrictions to ensure people are still safe while enjoying the course. Only one golfer/family per cart, only credit or debit card payments accepted, and four or less golfers in the club house at one time.
Mallard Cove golf Course in Lake Charles opens back up today at 7:30am. Tee times must be arranged ahead of time by calling 337-491-1204. Tee times will be set in ten minute increments to allow for additional spacing between golfers.
