Southwest Louisiana KFC Chain Closes All Locations

If you have a chicken craving over the next few days and weeks, don't plan a trip to your local Southwest Louisiana Kentucky Fried Chicken locations. Per multiple reports and sources, all of the KFC locations in Southwest Louisiana are CLOSED as of Tuesday.

Reports began to surface on Tuesday Morning/Afternoon that here in Southwest Louisiana we would be without another fast food restaurant around the area. First, we heard the news of the Sulphur location closing, then the Ryan St. location, now after further investigation, it looks as if all of the locations are closed.

There are a total of six KFC locations from DeRidder down to Lake Charles and over to Lafayette. The six locations in the general area are CLOSED. All of the locations have signs displayed around the building that state...

This location has permanantly closed. We are sorry for the inconvience.

Per the national KFC website, it is confirmed that all six locations in our area are listed as CLOSED on the site.

We have tried to reach out to KFC for comment and reasoning for the abrupt closing of the locations, but we have been unsuccessful in our attempts. If we hear back from the National Chain.
