One of the premier summer destinations in Southwest Louisiana is located in Sulphur with the Sulphur Parks and Recreation facilities.

One of the facilities operated by SPAR is Center Circle Park, located at 80 Center Circle Drive. It was one of the original tracts purchased in 1952 to establish the Sulphur Parks district. The size of the park has been increased via additional land purchases over the years. The site now includes a swimming pool operated during the summer months, three tennis courts, a covered basketball pavilion, multiple covered picnic areas, a recreation room available for rent, and a recently upgraded playground.

Sulphur Parks and Recreation announced in September 2022 that the SPAR Board unanimously voted in favor of the Center Circle Park Master Plan. The plan included a pool with zero entry lounging area, an inclusive playground, a community center, restrooms, a pool house, a splash pad, and a host of other amenities.

Projected completion in 2023: splash pad, inclusive playground, restrooms, pickleball courts, and resurfaced tennis courts.

Projected completion in 2024: pool, lounging area, pool house, and community center
