Sulphur Parks & Recreation

Our friends at Sulphur Parks and Recreation (SPAR) offer plenty of great places for families to enjoy all across Sulphur, Louisiana.

SPAR features a wide variety of parks, sports fields, walking trails, and recreation areas where people can play, exercise, and relax. Some of the most popular locations include Frasch Golf Course, McMurry Park, Center Circle Park, and the SPAR Water Park. Families can also find playgrounds, picnic spots, basketball and tennis courts, and even a dog park at Fideaux Field.

One of the biggest attractions in the summer is the SPAR Water Park, where families gather to cool off and have fun in the sun. The park includes a lazy river, swimming pools, and water slides, making it a fun spot for all ages. Over the years, it has become a favorite summer destination for local families in the area.

SPAR Waterpark in Sulphur Set To Open This Weekend

The SPAR Waterpark is getting ready to open up THIS WEEKEND, but there is a small catch... From now through the rest of the month, the waterpark will ONLY be open for Sulphur Residents as a part of their "Celebrate Sulphur" campaign.

So, if you live in District 3 in Sulphur, you will be able to enjoy the park beginning on Saturday. Here's a look at the schedule for the rest of the month of May before it (pretty much) opens up to the public in June...

May 23 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (10 am-5 pm)
May 24 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (1 pm-5 pm)
May 25 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (10 am-5 pm)
May 26 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (10 am-5 pm)
May 27 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (10 am-5 pm)
May 28 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (10 am-5 pm)
May 29 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (10 am-5 pm)
May 30 – Celebrate Sulphur! District 3 Residents ONLY (10 am-5 pm)
