Steel Shot Playing In Lake Charles Friday For Cowboy Block Party
It's time again for another installment of the Cowboy Block Party on the campus of McNeese State University presented by Lake Charles Toyota, Deep South Productions, and the McNeese Athletic Foundation.
The first few Cowboy Block Parties of the year were epic. So far, it has featured The Flamethrowers and Wayne Toups. The previous party with Wayne Toups had one of the biggest crowds the Block Party has ever seen. With that being said, get ready for the next installment. Bring your dancing shoes this Friday night as boys from Cameron are bringing the party to town as Steel Shot will take the stage!
That's right, it's free to attend and open to all ages. Bring your lawn chair, and your ice chest with your favorite beverages, and get ready to see and hear Steel Shot.
The Cowboy Block Party takes place at the corner of McNeese and Common Street in South Lake Charles at the grove next to Lot A parking lot. There will be food trucks and drinks for sale just in case you don't bring any food or drinks with you.
The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and Steel Shot will hit the stage a little after 7:00 p.m. and will play for two hours straight. After the band finishes, get ready to stay for the after-party with DJ Sparrow rocking some tunes until 10:30 p.m.
