Once again we are seeing a bunch of great talent coming to Southwest Louisiana specifically in the Lake Charles market. Another big concert has just been announced as Stoney LaRue is coming to Lake Charles for a big concert.

If you are a big fan of Texas and Red Dirt Country then you know exactly who Stoney Larue is. Larue started his career back in 2002. Larue was born in Taft, Texas but hails from the Yanush/Buffalo Valley in Oklahoma.

Larue has released eight albums in his career on the Smith Music Group. Three of those albums US TIme, Aviator, and Velvet all landed in the top 25 in the U.S Country Billboards charts.

Larue is known for his songs Aviator, Travelin' Kind, First One To Know, and Blending Colors. Stoney also shot videos for each one of those songs. LaRue has also worked with high-profile artists in Nashville. In 2013, Stoney Larue sang backing vocals on Miranda Lambert's single All Kinds of Kinds.  

Stoney Larue's tour will be making a stop here in Lake Charles on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. He will hit the stage that night at 8:30 pm. Tickets for the show are now available online at the Golden Nuggets website, or by stopping by their box office to get tickets.
