Hilarious & Weird Things People Have Caught In A Parade In Louisiana
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - We have all been to a parade, and some of you may have even been in one, rolling down the route. In Louisiana, we are accustomed to parades because the bayou state hosts parades for a wide range of events, from Mardi Gras to Homecoming, as well as holiday parades like Christmas and other national holidays.
What makes Louisiana stand out from other parades that take place across the United States is that, in Louisiana, no matter what type of parade you're attending, you expect to have things thrown from the floats.

In other parts of the country, most parades are just floats with people waving at you. That does and will never fly in Louisiana. If you are in a parade in Louisiana and don't throw things from your float, you are just asking for trouble. People will yell at you, give you a thumbs down, or, in some cases, throw things back at you, but on the bright side, you will at least have something to throw.
We posed that question to our listeners, and we got some hilarious, weird, and strange responses on things people have caught at a parade in Louisiana, and we have made a list for you.
