SWLA Hot Sauce Fest Is Bringing the Heat to Sulphur This Weekend

KNGT | Sulphur, LA — If you love hot sauce, spicy food, and spending a Saturday hanging out with family and friends, y'all better mark your calendars now.Because Southwest Louisiana is about to get a whole lot hotter.

The SWLA Hot Sauce Fest is coming to Sulphur this weekend. Saturday August 15th, at the West Cal Arena. We're talking hot sauce makers, salsa companies, food trucks, local vendors, contests, tastings, and enough heat to make you question every life decision you've ever made.

We always argue who has the best gumbo in the area, now its time to see who has the best hot sauce. A Full Day Of Heat, Food, And Fun. The party starts at 10am and runs until 8pm. Best part is this event is FREE.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on August 15th in Sulphur, and the best part is admission is absolutely free. You will be able to sample, Hot Sauces, Salsas, visit with Vendors and even grab you some food from one of the many food trucks.
