National Night Out Events in SWLA for 2026

2026 National Night Out Events Around Southwest Louisiana

DeRidder - The City of DeRidder will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds. This year's "Field of Dreams" theme will feature an evening of food, games, entertainment, first responders, local organizations, and fun activities for the whole family.

Leesville - The City of Leesville will host its National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, August 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Leesville Recreation Complex. With an "Under the Big Lights" theme, the event will include food, games, entertainment, community organizations, first responders, and family-friendly activities

Lake Charles - The Lake Charles Police Department and the City of Lake Charles are inviting the community to a free National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lake Charles Event Center. Families can meet local police officers and first responders, watch demonstrations from the SWAT team, Crime Scene Investigations, and Traffic Motorcycles, and enjoy a jambalaya cook-off with free samples while supplies last.

Sulphur - The City of Sulphur will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West-Cal Event Center, located at 401 Arena Road in Sulphur. This free, family-friendly event brings residents, law enforcement, and first responders together for an evening focused on safety, community, and building stronger relationships.
