The Avenue of Flags in Lake Charles returns for its 41st year, showcasing more than 1,200 memorial flags to honor U.S. veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

Monday is Veterans Day, a day to salute and remember our Veterans both past and present, but especially the ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free.

I know a lot of us are excited about the Memorial Day Weekend. Three days off work is something to be excited about. It's a time to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.
