We know the songs... and we all hate them. Oh, you know... those ridiculous "pop country" songs that make us hang our heads in shame, embarrassed to call ourselves country fans, constantly making us having to explain that no, we don’t listen to that type of country.

You've heard about it and now it's finally here....... the hip-hop version of "Achy Breaky Heart." Brace yourself, now.

While country stars' reviews of the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards were mixed, artists were nearly unanimous in critiquing Miley Cyrus' performance with Robin Thicke on Sunday night (Aug. 25).

Not everybody is going to love every song we play -- we realize that.  And we realize it because it happens to be true for us, too!  It might be worse for DJs, because we hear every song all day long, and there's no place to hide if you don't like one.

It's a story that we hear often in Hollywood.  A child star makes it big, gets a taste of success, and then has a tough time dealing with the pressure and the spotlight.  Miley Cyrus is one casualty in this all too familiar Hollywood spin cycle.
