Saturday night the Charlie Daniels Band hit the stage at 10:30 p.m. at the Crowley Rice Festival and during his performance he brought on a very familiar Cajun and Country artist everyone form around here knows, Jo-El Sonnier.

Today (Sept. 11) marks the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, when terrorists hijacked several passenger planes and flew them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Country stars have long been known to speak their minds through their songs, but usually not using those four letter words.

Country legend Charlie Daniels is expected to remain hospitalized until Friday as he recovers from pneumonia and a pacemaker implant to regulate his heart rate. The singer was admitted to a Nashville area hospital on Monday (March 25). He says he hadn't been feeling well.
