Entergy will continue performing Underground Network maintenance in the downtown area starting next Monday (3/19/18)

The City of Lake Charles has various road work projects in progress and scheduled in the coming days. Motorist should be aware of temporary road closures.

If you are planning on traveling east on Interstate 10 this weekend .... you will need to take an alternate route. I-10 will be closing for Bridge construction.

I'm sure you remember the traffic delays caused by the construction at the corner of Prien Lake Road and Ryan Street a while back. The intersection is much more user-friendly now but there were growing pains. Now the growing pains move downtown.

Yesterday I made a trip fro Beaumont to Lake Charles and saw this 18 Wheeler in the ditch. It was upside down and in a deep ditch about three quarter miles West of the Texas state line. Getting it out of that ditch had the interstate closed (westbound) for eight hours today..
