Temporary Road Closure: Bilbo St. & Pujo St.

The intersection of Bilbo Street and Pujo Street will close to thru traffic beginning Thursday, June 14, at 7 a.m.

According to a City of Lake Charles media release, Suddenlink crews will perform maintenance in the downtown Lake Charles area, closing the intersection of Bilbo and Pujo Streets. "Bilbo Street will be accessible from the north by Broad Street and from the south by Kirby Street; however, no thru traffic will be allowed at the intersection. Ryan Street is recommended as a north-south thoroughfare."

Drivers should adhere to flagmen who will be on hand to help control traffic in the construction area.
