Texans QB Watson Donates First Paycheck To Stadium Employees Affected By Harvey [VIDEO]
Here is a real feel-good story for you. Rookie Houston Texans quarterback, Deshaun Watson, performed an awesome act of kindness by donating his first NFL game paycheck to three cafeteria workers who work at NRG stadium.
Deshaun found out that their houses were flooded by Hurricane Harvey, and they were having trouble trying to bounce back.
Watson decided to take his first NFL game paycheck, worth a little over twenty seven thousand dollars, and split it three ways to give it to the three ladies. That splits up to be a little over $9,000 for each lady.
He said in the video it was just a little something to try and help them get back on their feet.
Watson himself knows what it feels like to be helped by others. He and his family at one time had a house donated to them by Habitat For Humanity.
Here is what happened when Watson met with the ladies and presented them with their checks.
