The Texas Renaissance Festival has announced their new pandemic policies and details about tickets that go on sale this weekend.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday and will be sold online only. Passes will not be sold at the gate. The 2020 festival will begin on October 3 and run through November 29.

According to a press release, the festival will be requiring all staff and vendors to wear masks and have daily temperature checks. They also mentioned that if there is a state-wide mask mandate, patrons will be required to wear masks. If there is no mask mandate, patrons will be "strongly encouraged" to wear masks.

They will also follow state and CDC cleaning and sanitation recommendations daily and nightly. Plus, they are placing more than 100 hand sanitizer stations around the grounds.

Passes will be sold for specific days and start at $30 for adults and $15 for kids 5-12.

If, for some reason, the festival is canceled, ticket holders can roll over their passes to 2021.
