There is indeed some good news to come out of this coronavirus pandemic that we are dealing with at this moment: Southwest Louisiana graduates will have the opportunity to walk the line on graduation night. However, the plans are subject to change depending on the governor's timeline for safety regulations.

Graduations will take place beginning Tuesday, May 19, weather permitting. All of the graduating ceremonies will be held at Matt Walker Memorial Stadium at Sulphur High School, located at 100 Sycamore Street in Sulphur. This location was chosen based on their safe and comfortable environment and it will also allow the district the ability to live-stream the ceremony with duties handled by the student television production program, CPSB-TV. This will allow family and friends to watch the graduation live in their entirety anywhere in the world through the CPSB-TV Facebook page. Also, the videos of each ceremony will be archived to relive the beautiful memories.

Each graduate will receive four tickets to distribute to family members. The tickets will be marked with the student's name and will be distributed soon at home campuses. Only visitors with tickets will be able to attend the ceremony. Everyone else will be able to view the ceremony via the live-stream. Please see the upcoming graduation dates below.
