The Home of American Music Will Celebrate Its 86th Birthday The Entire Month of October

There are three words that  when spoken, instantaneously mean "country music'...Grand Ole  Opry.  This October, "The Home of American Music" will be celebrating it's 86th year of bringing country music and it's artists to the world.  From when it first opened in 1892 to the 2010 flooding of the Cumberland River, the 2,362-seat live performance venue located at 115 5th Avenue North has been The Mecca of American Country Music
