The Little River Band’s 50th Anniversary Tour Is Coming To Lake Charles
Are you a big fan of the legendary Little River Band? Coming up in 2025, it will be a special year for the band as they celebrate their 50th anniversary of the band being together. What is even cooler is that on their 50th-anniversary tour, one of the stops will be right here in Lake Charles next year.
The Little River Band was formed in 1975 and has been playing all over the world for almost 50 years now. The band was founded in Melbourne, Australia. They are known for their pop rock and soft rock sounds through the years.
In the band Hayday in the 1970s and 1980s, they had several platinum albums and massive and iconic hit songs. The band has 18 studio albums to their credit along with four Live albums and 39 singles.
Those albums produced the hit singles Reminiscing, Cool Change, Lonesome Loser, The Night Owls, Take It Easy On Me, Help Is on Its Way, Happy Anniversary, We Two, Man On Your Mind, The Other Guy, and It’s A Long Way There.

The current members of the Little River Band include Wayne Nelson, Chris Marion, Ryan Ricks, Colin Whinnery, and Bruce Wallace. None of these are original members of the Little River Band. Chris Marion has been with the band the longest since he started in 2004.
The Little River Band will be making a stop in Lake Charles on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Golden Nugget. They will hit the stage inside the Grand Event Center that night starting at 8:00 p.m.
