The Newest Insane Documentary You Need to See

The Fyre Festival Documentary was the first real introduction to crazy situations that the people involved in them seemed to think was normal. Then we were introduced to Ted Bundy. We relived the Lorena Bobbitt situation on Amazon Prime. Recently, we got shown what happens in Utah when a neighbor falls in love with the daughter, but also fools around with her mom and dad (that's what best friends are for, right?). Oh, and that one had aliens too.

Now, introducing the newest documentary we didn't know we needed to see. It's a Hulu origional called The Act. Loosely, the story is about a mother who claims her daughter was born prematurely and, as a result, suffers from asthma, leukemia, brain tumors, and muscular dystrophy. Now, this Hulu "origional" is a movie based on the story of the mother and daughter combo, who just happen to be from Louisiana. SPOILER ALERT, the daughter ends up finding out and kills the mother!

The mother subjected her daughter to thinking she was younger than she was, forced her to take medications she didn't need, and even have surgeries that weren't required. The trailer to the movie is below, get ready!
