The Tigers And Cajuns Square Off Today In NIT Tournament

Louisiana college basketball fans are giddy, as two of their favorite teams will square off today in Baton Rouge.

The LSU Tigers will host the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette tonight in Baton Rouge in the opening round of the NIT college basketball tournament.

The Tigers Men's basketball team are 17-14 on the season while the Cajuns are an impressive 27-6 on the year.  LSU is the third seed in the tournament while the Cajuns are seeded 6th.

This is the first time the Tigers and Cajuns will meet since 2009.  The winner will advance to the second round of the NIT tournament.

The LSU Cajuns game tips off tonight in the Pete Maravich assembly center tonight in Baton Rouge at 6:00 p.m. and it will air live on ESPN3.com.
