Things To Do In Lake Charles and SWLA This Weekend Feb. 16-18

Gladys Knight will be live in Lake Charles Friday night at the Grand Event Center at the Golden Nugget. The show starts at 8:30 pm.
Johnny Jimenez will be live at the Caribbean Hut in Lake Charles located on Common Street Friday night starting at 8:30 pm.
Collective Soul will be live in Lake Charles on Saturday night at the Grand Event Center at the Golden Nugget. The show starts at 8:00 pm.
There is a Boat, Sport & RV Show taking place at the Lake Charles Event Center in Lake Charles this weekend. The hours are Friday from 12 pm to 7 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.
Doc Wilder will be live at Paul's Rib Shack on Friday night. Paul's is located at 4800 Nelson Road in South Lake Charles. Doc will play from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks will host Let’s Go Fly a Kite, on Saturday, Feb 17 from 10 am until Noon at Veterans Memorial Park. The park is located on the water on Lakeshore Drive in downtown Lake Charles next to the Lake Charles Event Center. You are encouraged to bring your kites and enjoy flying them. There will be Refreshments will be provided and City Recreation and Parks staff.
Kevin Barton will be live at The Boardwalk which is located on East McNeese Street in Lake Charles in the same shopping center where the Mancave is. Kevin will be playing Friday night from 7 pm to 10 pm.
