Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend July 14-16

Has it been a long week? It sure has been a hot one that's for sure but guess what, we finally made it to the weekend. After a long week of hustle and bustle and adulting, we are ready to throw caution to the wind and have some fun.

That is where we come in. We have done the leg work for you and found things that are going on this weekend in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana and made a list for you!

Everclear and Saliva will be performing live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center Friday night, July 14th at 8:30 pm.

Johnny Jimenez will be playing at Mr. Bills Seafood Express located on McNeese Street in Lake Charles on Saturday night for the big Mr.Bills Block Party. They will have the road closed off and Johnny will be performing live on the back of the Buddy Russ bus. Then on Sunday, Johnny will be live at Mary's Lounge located on East Broad Street In Lake Charles for Sunday Funday starting at 5:00 pm.

The Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association will be holding its annual Cajun Music And Food Festival inside the Burton Coliseum in South Lake Charles on Saturday, July 15th, 2023.  Here is what you need to know including the entertainment lineup.

Movies Under The Stars begins Friday night, July 14th, 2023. Tonight's show will take place at Prien Lake Park in Lake Charles.  Here are the details of what movie will be shown and what time it starts. 

Swamp Pop Sunday will take place at the Blue Martini Sunday, July 15th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm featuring Louisiana Express.
