Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend March 1-3

Has this week crawled by for you? Are you chomping at the bit to get out of the house, forget about work, and blow off some steam? Is the only problem you just don't know what to do?

We have a list of things going on in Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles this weekend so take a look and pick your poison.

Comedian and Actor Kevin James will be live in concert here in Lake Charles on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at the Golden Nugget Casino resort. Kevin will take the stage at 8:00 pm that night.

Chris Ardoin will be live in Lake Charles this Friday night, March 1st, 2024 at Cowboy's Nightclub. The doors will open at 9:00 pm and Chris will hit the stage shortly after that.

Linda's Lounge located on Lake Street in Lake Charles will have live music on both Friday and Saturday nights. Friday night is Mark Reeves and Twisted X and Saturday night they will have Mason Trail live.

The McNeese Men's and Women's basketball teams will be in action Saturday afternoon inside the Legacy Center in Lake Charles. The Cowgirls game will start at 1:00 pm followed by the Men's game starting around 4:00 pm. They will both take on Nicholls on Saturday afternoon.

Johnny Jimenez will be live at Kozzies Daquri and Sports Bar located on Highway 14 East next to KK's Corner in South Lake Charles. Johnny will hit the stage at 8:00 pm. He will then perform at Los Poncho's on Highway 397 on Saturday night just East of Lake Charles. He will hit the stage there at 7:00 pm.
