Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend March 14-16

Is it us, or did this week just crawl by? Was it because we had a shorter week last week because of Mardi Gras, or was it the time change that jacked us all up? Either way, it's time to leave the house and have some fun this weekend.

That is where we come in. Here is a list of things going on in the lake area this weekend for you to choose from. Whether you just want to see live music, shop, or enjoy the outdoors, we have something for everyone. Here you go.

Leroy Thomas & The Zydeco Roadrunners will be live in Lake Charles on Saturday night, March 15. First, he will be playing at the Cajun's Wharf on Ryan Street in Lake Charles from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and then will head over to Linda's Lounge in Lake Charles located on Lake Street in South Lake Charles. Leroy and the boys will hit the stage at 10:00 pm at Linda's.

Aaron Istre will be playing live at Chaser's Bar & Grill on Friday night, March 14th, 2025. Chaser's is located on the corner of University Drive and Lake Street in South Lake Charles. Aaron and the band hit the stage at 8:00 pm.

Several Farmers Markets are going on Saturday morning in the area. One in Lake Charles located on Biblo Street by the old courthouse, one in Moss Bluff on Highway 378, and one in Westlake at Millers Super Saver on Sampson Street. All three markets' hours are from 8:00 am to Noon.

Dani LaCour will be live at The Cajun's Wharf located on Ryan Street South of I-210 in Lake Charles on Friday night, March 14, 2025. Dani will be live from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm that night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
