It's finally Friday and it's time once again for our weekly weekend report on things to do in the Southwest Louisiana area. Whether you're looking for a concert, festival, or just a cool event to check out, we have you covered.

There are some big-time concerts going on in Lake Charles tonight along with several of our locally owned businesses having live music for you to enjoy.

Tonight at the Golden Nugget, country music artist Jamey Johnson will be live in the Grand Event center starting at 8:30 pm.

Saturday night, L'Auberge Casino Resort will host Clint Black live in concert in their event center. That show begins at 8:00 pm.  Remember at both casino shows, masks must be worn while attending the concerts.

K-Bon's Cajun restaurant located on the corner of Highway 397 and East McNeese Street will have Jason Stutes live on Friday night and Reed Planchard on Saturday night.  Both artists will play from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

The Spot on Common Street in Lake Charles will have Heart and Soul live in concert. Koozies on Highway 14 next to KK's Corner in South Lake Charles will have Reed Planchard live Friday night starting at 8:00 pm.

Johnny Jimenez will be at Paul's Rib Shack on Nelson Road in Lake Charles tonight starting at 6:00 pm. Johnny will be in Port Arthur, Texas at the Rodair Club at 7:00 pm.

Alfred Doucet Band will be live at Mary's Lounge located on East Broad Street in Lake Charles for their Funday Sunday show.  The music gets started around 5:00 pm.
