Things You Said You Love Catching At A Louisiana Mardi Gras Parade
Everyone loves going to a Mardi Gras parade. They especially love to catch those one-of-a-kind treasures like specialty beads and trinkets while some opt to go after the plastic cups and t-shirts to fill their kitchen cabinets up or have a new shirt or two to wear around town.
People have also come up with creative ways to get the attention of parade floats and the people throwing stuff from the floats. We have seen people with laundry baskets, upside-down umbrellas, and even a basketball goal or two set up with a bag underneath the net to entice people to make a basket with their throws and it falls into their waiting bags below.
If you have ever been to a parade or have ridden in one, you have seen people zone out and lose their minds over big things like stuffed animals, t-shirts, and large Mardi Gras beads. They even go as far as jocking for position when they see something good about to come their way.
