The Chennault International Airport in Lake Charles broke the news yesterday about the upcoming airshow, saying,

Today, the Thunder Over Louisiana Air Show announced that its inaugural 2026 show will take place on Aug. 28-30, 2026, at Chennault International Airport in Lake Charles.

The initial lineup of military and civilian performers will be announced in December.
