Mother Nature is fixing to give all of Louisiana a treat this week. A cold front is heading our way, dropping our temperatures in the bayou state. We have been waiting all year for this time to come.

According to the National Weather Service, Louisiana can expect temperatures to drop overnight into the 40s and highs in the lower 70s.  Here in Southwest Louisiana, the National Weather Service's forecast rolls like this,

Clear, with a low of around 47. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Thursday
Sunny, with a high near 73. East wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 52. East wind around 5 mph.
Friday
Sunny, with a high near 77. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
