For two months, people in Louisiana were under the governor's stay-at-home order due to the coronavirus outbreak.

During that time, people were laid off from work and businesses closed their doors. However, some folks never stopped working during this pandemic, and we thank them for what they did and continue to do on the front lines everyday.

Festivals, live music at venues, and large headlining concerts were all either canceled or moved to another date later this year. There was absolutely nothing to do here in Southwest Louisiana.

Last Friday, Governor John Bel Edwards lifted the stay-at-home order, moving Louisiana into Phase One of the reopening plan.  Excitement built as SWLA residents found out that some of their favorite things to do, places to go, and entertainment venues were going to open back up.

Of course, these businesses and services only opened up under the guidelines of the CDC and state government.

We asked Southwest Louisiana listeners on our Facebook page, "What is the first thing you did after the stay-at-home order was lifted Friday?" and here is what you told us.
