We are all champing at the bit for a live concert, and since the COVID-19 pandemic, those events have been put on hold. However, we received word today that a great country artist has been booked in Lake Charles and the show is set for September.

Country music legend Tracy Lawrence is making his return to Southwest Louisiana on Saturday, September 5 at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles.

Lawrence launched his career in the early 1990s and cranked out nothing but hits for the next 20 years. One of Tracy's biggest hits, Alibis, was co-written by Randy Boudreaux, who is from right here in Southwest Louisiana.

Lawrence also found success with hits like Sticks & Stones, Can't Break It To My Heart, Texas Tornado, Time Marches On, and Paint Me A Birmingham, just to name a few of his timeless classics.

The 52-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer has been at the game since 1991 and has nine number one singles to his credit, with 456 singles in his career.

Pre-sale tickets for the Saturday, September 5 show go on sale today.
