Traffic Being Diverted From I-10 WB To 210 WB In Lake Charles And Here’s Why
UPDATE at 8:20 am Per The LCPD,
I-10 BRIDGE IS NOW OPEN TRAFFIC FLOWING AGAIN
As we start our day today, we already have a big traffic problem. Traffic is currently backed up on I-10 Westbound from the top of the I-10 bridge and is backed up for a few miles. Currently, traffic is backed up past the Enterprise Boulevard exit and backing up more and more.
The initial report we received for the backup was an 18-wheeler that was stalled on top of the bridge. We have now learned that the 18-wheeler has lost its load according to the Lake Charles Police Department.
They just sent out this alert for us to pass along to you.
Advisory: LSP DIVERTING TRAFFIC FROM I-10 WB TO 1-210 WB DUE TO STALLED 18 WHEELER LOOSING LOAD ON I-10 BRIDGE DURATION UNK -- LCPD
