Tyler Booth, With Ties To Lake Charles, To Play At The Grand Ole Opry
If you have ever been to the Marshland Festival then you know who Tyler Booth is. Tyler has played right here in Lake Charles at the Marshland Festival several times. He was the headliner last year for the 2022 festival.
Tyler Booth who is from Campton Kentucky is an up-and-coming country music artist who played in Lake Charles even before he made a big stamp on Nashville. In 2019, Booth got a major break as he was featured on Brooks & Dunn's Reboot album which was released in 2019. He joined the legendary country music duo on the album singing the hit Lost And Found. Here is that recording.
In 2020, Tyler signed his major recording contract with Sony Music Nashville and has been touring all over the country. Tyler has a huge social media following on Tik Tok and Facebook and other platforms. Just on his Facebook page, he has over 243,000 followers.
Like we said earlier, Tyler Booth even headlined the 2022 Marshland Festival here in Lake Charles back in July of 2022 at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Tyler is really good friends with our good buddy Marvin Simon who owns Deep South Productions here in Sulphur, Louisiana.
We here at Gator 99.5 have also had the pleasure of getting to know Tyler through the years and we were so excited to hear the news we want to share with you today.
Tyler Booth has received an invitation to play at none other than the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee which will be Tyler's Opry debut. This is the pinnacle of country music and it is every country music artist's dream to be able to stand inside that sacred circle and perform at the legendary venue.
How huge is that? He broke the news on social media posting about the upcoming show. We went to the Opry website and saw the posting of the show. Tyler will make his Opry debut on Friday, June 2nd, 2023. Also scheduled to appear that night is Tanya Tucker. More artists will be added closer to the show.
We want to say congrats to Tyler Booth and wish him luck on his Opry debut. Thank you for always coming to Southwest Louisiana to share your talents with us. We are rooting for you!
