It's a sad Friday morning for friends and family of Heidi Broussard. Thursday night, the body of a woman believed to be that of the missing woman was discovered in the trunk of a car at the back of a house near Houston, Texas.

Tammy Broussard, Heidi Broussard's mother, said Friday that police told her the body is likely that of her daughter, who has been missing for a week

Last night, police and FBI agents swarmed a house near Houston, about 150 miles away. The medical examiner had not confirmed publicly at that time it was the body of Heidi Broussard. FBI agents confirmed it was at the site but denied further comment. Austin authorities did not comment or respond to request until late Thursday.

Tammy Broussard, Heidi Broussard's mother, said early on Friday that police told her a body found in Jersey Village, Texas, is likely that of her daughter. The baby girl was taken to hospital but appeared unharmed. Heidi's mother, Tammy Broussard, confirmed to CBS Austin's Melanie Barden that the body found belongs to Heidi, and that Margot is in CPS custody.
