The LSU Tigers are coming off of a bye week this weekend and are gearing up to host the Ole Miss Rebels this Saturday, October 12th, 2024 in Baton Rouge. This game just became bigger since the chaos that occurred over the weekend in college football.

#1 Alabama, #4 Tennessee, #9 Missouri, #10 Michigan, and #11 USC were upset over the weekend causing a major shake-up in the college football rankings. Alabama fell to #7, Tennessee fell to #8, Missouri plummeted to # 21, Michigan also fell big to #24, and USC dropped completely out of the top 25 rankings altogether.

LSU moved up two spots to #10 in the coaches poll but stayed idol at #13 in the AP poll. Ole Miss moved up three spots to #9 in the AP Poll and three in the Coaches Poll to #8.

LSu has won the past four games of the season after starting the season with a loss to USC. LSU's record so far this season is 4-1. Ole Miss is coming off a win against South Carolina but the Rebels last two weeks ago when they were upset by the the Kentucky Wildcats 20-17. They sit at 5-1 on the season.

So the stage is set. #13 LSU will host #9 Ole Miss this Saturday, October 12th, 2024 inside of Tigers Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kickoff for the game is set for 6:30 pm and the game will be televised on ABC.
